That is a progressive thought. There are funda[i][b]mentalists (Freaks)[/b][/i] in the world who take the definition of religion (set of rules) very seriously. And they also rise or lure a heard of sheep to follow them and spread their agenda. It is then u see these mass happenings creating unrest in the society.

otherwise I agree with you that religion is not the source of conflict, its only an excuse to grab power.

we don't really need religion to develop our code. each of us can do it individually, or sometimes as a group. Religion is needed only to leverage great power, somewhat like big conglomerates do.
