Greetings exchanged.

VO : whom do you work.?
me : I work for xxxx.

VO : You work directly with them or you have any client.?
ME : YES, told client name so and so.

VO : Can you spell it, and he is writing something...
ME : I had my ID card, I just showed to him for spelling.( While showing i told spelling too )
( At this time i thought he is entering my client name in his system thats why he is asking spelling
I was actually wrong, i came to know at the end)

VO : what type of VISA.
VO : Did you hold any visa other than h1b earlier. ?

VO : Do you have a family in US.?
ME : YES, Wife

VO : What status she holds currently.
ME : I was confused here, but confidently told she got 2013 h1b,

VO : what is your salary
ME : I told monthly salary ( Since i entered monthly salary in DS-160)
He expected annual so he asked me again annaul salary.?

VO: Are you currently working in USA.?
ME : YES

VO : How can you work in US. your VISA is expired.
ME : heart-feeling : baabu adhi kavalane me daggara vacchanu.
he confused and confused me but i was so confident and slowly
explained him, this is second h1 and there I-797 Extension copy in
side the folder, please have look on it.

VO : Then he realized what happened and told me I confused.
Me : No Problem sir,

VO : Your Visa is approved, but some of your information is not updated in
our electronic systems it may take 2 or 3 days longer.Even you cant do anything
other than waiting and gave me a printout of how to track my passport.

ME : Thank you sir, I just want to clarify two things.
My I-797 also will get along with my passport ? because he didnt give me my original
I showed my ID card and told him, he is just my client not employer just want to make sure.

VO : Yeah, i know dont worry about it.
ME : Thank you.


Day1: Interview
Day2: waiting, and checking the status through CSC ( It will update only once your visa issued )
Day3: waiting. Checked with DOS website thorugh online. Updated as Administrative Processing it may take some weeks or longer.
Day4: waiting.
Day5: waiting.
day6: waiting.( i could not wait i called PIMS,USCIS,DOS everybody they told same statuswhat i see online.)
day7: i went to consulate. they didnt listen since its not even 5 working days according to them.told me wait.
day7: Afternoon there is counter they check in systems and give you an udpate. Gave me a slip to collect my passport at embassy itself.
day8: waiting. Online status changed to ISSUED.
day9: collected passport back to USA.

So VO Already told me 2 or 3 days longer that means regular process [b]+ [/b]2 or 3 working days.
but still i was so worried until i see visa stamp on it.

If everything goes well its 3-5 working days.
if something like my situation 2 weeks. IF you get query then its real pain.
they wont even redirect your phone call until 60days over of ur document submission.
not sure when we will get it.
