I have 2008 valid h1b petition .i came to us on h4 in 2010 and transferred H4 to H1 using 2008 petition and it was approved for 3 years and in April 2013 applied for extension and it got approved for 3 years.


Here are the list of questions asked by VO

VO: How long you have u been in USA?

me: 3 years 7 months

VO : are u staying in Virginia

me :yes

VO : is u r spouse is in USA

me :yes

VO : what do u do for u r company

me :i am working as a programmer analyst and i design , develop and implement complex applications on java.

Then he said ok

VO : How long have u been with this employer?

me :3 years 5 months

VO :Your visa approved

Hotel and Travel

We stayed in DaysInn, 3828 Macloed Trails South, Calgary which is around 2 km from consulate and 20 km from airport.
There are no shuttles from airport to hotel. So you have to take taxi which will cost around $50.
There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Take Bus no 10 and get down at "City Hall" stop comes exactly in 10 min and embassy is right opposite of the bus stop. Cost $3 each way (you have to use coins).
For return you can use the same bus but the stop is after the two blocks from consulate. So better take train (light rail) which is opposite of consulate. Go towards somerset and get down at 39th ave stop. cost is same $3
