My wife h4 meed undi ..planning to go india but ma employer gadu wife  i797A(i94) documents emi doratledu antundu ....but we have i797c(courtesy copy) undi ....

 

i797c copy tho visa ki stamping ki velte emina problem avtadha

I am sharing what I know 

1. all i797 originals should be with you not with you employer (either it is your's or your wife)

2. You can request USCIS for duplicate copy, ask your employr/attorney for the process.

3. When she got her h4 stamping, what I mean is 1st time when she got stamping she will not be given any i797, but i94 will be dated at Port of Entry.

    Next time, when your h1 renewal happen, her h4 will also get renewed and that time she will get a separate i797  along with extened i94 on it.

 

4. Did she went along with you for stamping in India (first time) or she attended alone? what documents were presented?

this is the first time she alone going for stamping

1. Copy of my husband's (principal applicant) I-797, I-129 and LCA
2.Employment Verification letter for my husband
3. COPY OF my last 6 month pay stubs
4. COPY OF my last 6 month bank statement
5. COPY OF my W-2 forms and his income tax returns for previous years
6. copy of my passport and his H1B and other visa stampings
