Theesku raavaali.. local bodies (like corporation) don't even have the autonomy to issue infra bonds. State govt permission theeskovaali. corruption ekkada osthundi antaavu? US lo prathi city lo nu local body contracts are offered to people with contacts (corrupted). Same in Europe. India lo kooda anthe.. Already unna corruption ee.. but responsibility for failure will be entirely on local bodies. Citizens will also have the chance to elect good local leaders and be more participative in governance.
