raadha Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 first of all,, ask your friend to check for othersexually transmittable diseases,,hiv is commonly associated with STD's .and for this diseases ,,it is called herpes simplex type 2 and is highly contagious,,it is a viral infection, there is no cure for this and there are medicines to shorten the duration of disease but it is not life threatening i.and one can only transmit the disease when there blisters and ulcers ,,he can get marry but shouldn't have sex if he has active disease.but he must be screened for other STD's before getting married
