The inevitable has happened. The Praja Rajyam Party that promised social justice and change in the state has bitten the mud. The party fared very poorly and all the projections and surveys have been proved bang on target.

Like most PRP supporters feared from the beginning, Chiranjeevi depended heavily on his brother Allu Aravind and this in the end made Chiru to eat a humble pie. To add insult to injury, Chiranjeevi even lost the election from Palakollu by about 5,000 votes.

Allu Aravind’s greed and high handed ways will prove costly for Chiru has been conveyed to Chiru by many senior party leaders and also the fans. Chiru paid no heed to any of the complaint. When someone like Parakala and Anjaneyiuu Reddy leave the party, alarm bells should have rung in Chiru’s ears. Chiru was so blinded by his faith in Allu Aravind that he failed to read the writing on the wall.

All fingers point at Allu Arvind, but the real question is, did he become such a close confidante of Chiru if he has the habit of keeping him in blind about what he does ? He is just a punching bag. Nobody knows if he will take a bullet for Chiru but he definitely is taking brick bats
