MeMaverick Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Hi friends, can we get OPT if we do MBA instead of masters here in usa. Does MBA falls under STEM ?? Calling MBA students in USA. For masters students we can get 27 months OPT but i want to know for MBA. Please advise!!

STEM---- Science ....technology...engineering... math... MBA doesnt fit into any of these categories...... Only MS in MIS....will fit in STEM Category

bio Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 MBA does qualify for opt for 1 yr, stem extension not eligible..stem degree list chusko evevi eligible oh http://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/stem-list.pdf, yes u can join consultancies, but then you ll only hav 1 shot at ur h1..

Royal, this is not for me, this is for my younger brother, he is currently in australia and completed masters in electrical engineering.he is planning to apply for MBA in USA from australia....
