Kavitha creates problems for Telangana students

Ms Kavitha Kalvakuntla needs no introduction. She has been in the forefront of the Telangana agitation along with her father KCR, brother KTR and cousin Harish Rao.

While other leaders talk of development while demanding separate Telangana, she has been talking about cultural differences between the Andhra and the Telangana people while demanding separate Telangana.

She has been espousing the need for the Telangana people to speak in the Telangana slang rather than talking in 'purified' Telugu which is usually talked by the Andhra people.

Taking inspiration from her, few Telangana students in an Engineering college in Hyderabad and also in the Gandhi Medical College started talking in 'pure' Telangana slang.

In a class the students began talking like this, "Gaa poragadu yaadaki yellindu?", "Gaa pori mastuga vundi", "Vaadiki bokkalo noppi antodndu" etc.

On first day it was okay, but after a few days the girls stopped talking to these students. The reason? The girls say that it is okay to talk in the Telangana slang, but these students are taking it the the extreme which is unbearable.

Incidentally these girls belong to the Telangana region. But belong to the districts like Khamma, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, etc where they talk in Andhra Telugu rather than the pakka Telangana Telugu.

The students of the non North Telangana regions only ask Kavitha only one thing. Why does not she herself talk in pure Telangana slang?
