Infra issues are the easiest to overcome for a government. India has systemic problems more than infra issues. things like law and order, labour issues. Unless these are solved, huge flyovers, wide roads, won't help other than making those contractors rich.

TN lo road lu baane untaayi. power problems unnayi, but andaru back up vadatharu. investors are scared of India because of lack of law and order, and outdated labour laws that gives too much power to registered worker unions. Factories that employ more than 150 people feel the heat, and unless they are politically connected, they have to suffer. shiny roads, huge flyovers valla em use oo inka naaku artham kaavu. Bangalore lo kattaru ga anni, even Hyd kooda... so why can't they compete with Chennai in industrial production? These tamilians are doing something right.
