donganaaK Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 again, I'm talking of policies. not of my personal failure. my personal failure had nothing to do with labour issues or infra issues. no entrepreneur will set it up in the first place without having a thorough understanding of the policies ... this means either you are faking it or you are an incompetent guy who just gave in to the pressures
dkc Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 How would you then potentially provide a secured feeling for a worker ? US lo fire chse policies unayi agreed at the same time there are many ways that a worker is being safegaurded man the so calle enterprenuer also need a worker who can physically implement his idea - how can you treat them bad its not the job of the employer to provide security to the employee. its enough if he follows laid out rules for hiring and firing. In india the environment is hard to hire and fire, so many people don't bother starting a factory. even if they do, they stick to non-unionized labour.
sitaraZahir Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 Gujarat In 2004 the State of Gujarat amended the Industrial Disputes Act to allow greater labour market flexibility in the Special Export Zones of Gujarat. The law allows companies within SEZs to lay off redundant workers, without seeking the permission of the government, by giving a formal notice and severance pay.[14] Modi rocks

I said my failure has nothing to do with these policies. But I became aware of them when I started a factory. how hard is to understand what I write?
paampachak Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 SEZ policies are same everywhere... what happens if the product you make is for the domestic market? 1. Then why they specified Gujarat here ? 2. If that is the case put up your comapny in SEZ why not ?
sitaraZahir Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 oh sh1t , my life is worthless nw Yes.. Less than 1 dollar

dkc Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 1. Then why they specified Gujarat here ? 2. If that is the case put up your comapny in SEZ why not ? SEZ act was amended in 2005/6 I think, to include these conditions all over india by the UPA. SEZ is for export markets. a small percentage can be domestically sold, but its not of much use if your product has domestic market. again, I'm not talking of my own venture. I don't know why people are so eager to run me down. lol.
