After the state division, the capital of AP has become a challenging issue. Sivaramakrishnan committee and Narayana committee on AP capital are busy with their strategies. It is expected that new capital of Andhra Pradesh is going to be developed either on the lines of Singapore city or on the lines of another planned city, Putrajaya of Malayasia. The cities in China, Brazil and in Pakistan are also under scanner to pick the best city design among these. Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu now seems to be focusing his attention on studying the design of these cities along with the design of Raipur model of Chattisgarh.
