TradeKing is best option unless you are an expert and heavy stock trader... no minimum balance required.. per transaction $4.95... lowest when compared to any other trading sites... nice UI and good experience for me so far...
 
P.S: recent ga edo trading website launch ayindhi which will not charge any commission at all... research on that one too...
