If rumours are to be believed, Yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to be the secretary general of the Telugu Desam Party and he is going to play active role in the party in the coming days.

According to the talk going on in the TDP circles, Balaiah has evinced interest in coming into active politics and he wants to become an active member of the party. However, Naidu is worried about the position to be given to Balaiah, in the event of he entering the party officially.

Sources said after a lot of deliberations, Naidu agreed to make Balaiah the secretary general of the party. Though there is no such position in the party as per its constitution, it would be created specially for the sake of Balaiah. That is the reason why Naidu disbanded the state committee. The new post would be created while reconstituting the party organisation.

If that happens, Balaiah would become No. 2 in the party!
