kgoud Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Hello All, Please provide me good suggestion on my H1B stamping. I came to USA on Jan 2010 and graduated in Dec 2012. I have applied for OPT in Jan 2013. I got one RFE in September 2013 submitted required documents. In Dec 2013 my OPT application was denied and provided a grace period of 30 days to leave USA or to reenter on new sevis. I have went to Mexico and came back on sevis ID. From Jan 2014 i am doing second masters and working on CPT from Jan 2014. My H1B got approved in April 2014 and i am planning to go for stamping in Dec 2014. I don't have any W2 in previous as i haven't worked anywhere because i dont had any CPT/OPT in 2010 to 2013. From Jan 2014 i was working on CPT in a company. My LCA was filed on xxx pay per year and my employer was running monthly more than what was in LCA (yyyy). Does it will have any effect in Visa interview. I don't have any W2 in previous, What should i say if an interviewer ask for W2. And i haven't did any work in Jan 2013 to Dec 2013 as i don't have OPT/CPT. What should i say if they ask what i did in this period. Please help me with these question and provide me suggestion for my interview. Thanks a lot in advance. Quote
