Jumping actress to play Asin's mother

Actress Roja who attained infamy for jumping from political party to another is all set to play the mother's role to Asin in a Tamil film. Incidentally Roja played the mother's role recently in Sambo Siva Sambo.

She would play the onscreen mother of Asin in Vijay's 'Kaavalkaran'.

Roja had bid adieu to arc lights when she entered into politics full time. Now, she has decided to quit politics and do what she likes most, that is, acting. Her husband, director Selvamani, had reportedly approached Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar and told him about his wife's decision to make a come back and that was how she was selected for the role.

37-years-old Roja, born in Hyderabad, had debuted in films with the blockbuster 'Chembarathi' in 1992, directed by her husband Selvamani. She had acted in several blockbusters in Tamil and Telugu. A few years before, she entered politics and was the president of the women's wing of TDP. But in August last year, she quit TDP
