He gets change from the next shop & keeps 200 for himself & returns 800 to the lady. After sometime the next shop owner returns the 1000 Rs. note saying it is fake & takes the money back. How much loss did the shopkeeper suffer? 2000

The judge allows him to say a one sentence in order to determine the way the penalty will be carried out. If he lies, he will be hanged, if he speaks the truth his head will be cut. The person speaks a sentence and to everybody surprise some minutes later he is set free because the judge cannot determine his penalty.What did he say?
