Efforts are on to release Magadheera on 9 July. Magadheera is touted as the costliest film ever made in Telugu with a budget above 35 crores. SS Rajamouli who delivered hits of all films he directed so far is directing this extravagant film. Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal are doing main leads in this period film based on rebirth. Srihari did a vital role. A part of the film is shot extensively in Rajasthan. Senthil who handled camera for recent blockbuster Arundhati is providing cinematography. MM Keeravani scores music. Allu Arvind produces this movie.
