marion Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 hello all, happened in NJ.... car was in parking lot....okadu back nunchi vachi hit chesadu...naa car and vaadi car rendu ku rented with same company......nenu rental car insurance tisukoledu but vaadu tisukunnadu....naaku na own insurance undi...police reported...police said the car rental will take care of you.... but rental car company called me and say me to give my insurance ID so that they can claim...but i said i got nothing with this because the other driver hit me from rear and i was not even driving my car..now they say to give ID and after claim, my insurance will then get refund from the other driver's insurer..help am confused Quote

So submit police report and tell other person to contact rental agency. I had the similar issue, they deducted 500 dollars from my credit card and issued a check back in few days. Quote

When you extend or apply for new insurance in future, they will ask you about the previous claims and it may impact the price of your future insurance. Quote
