gargicau Posted November 5, 2014 Author Report Posted November 5, 2014 for the benefit of entire TG. TG movement based on political/financial control in the TG area, and in particular, Hyd, would seem pointless otherwise. Lets assume Hyd grows at the current rate (avg over last ten years), it needs that kind of steady investment, which was easy to obtain earlier, given access that AP moneybags had there. But now with changed political scenario, TG has to depend on other state moneybags, which come with their own riders, including ceding political capital. TG can leverage its muslim population to forge close connections with Arabic powerhouses, but they come with other political and security issues. And the coal deposits are not distributable, the way water can be, to make small millionaires and spur the local market demand. The only way out for Hyd, is for Hyd is to improve its tax collection by taxing higher, slowing growth, shackling Hyd, and using the money to improve TG people's basic needs, and try and improve their collective political power. Hyd should become Chennai, and sacrifice itself for the betterment of the rest of TG. It can't become Bangalore, because the locals, with not much access to easy money via agriculture like people in south karnataka, can't compete with non-local investors. ps: I know I'd do well as greatandhra writer. :) see, you need an andhra actor gif to make your point or mock me too :)

gargicau Posted November 5, 2014 Author Report Posted November 5, 2014 gp what's wrong with my logic? Do you think KCR can control Hyd and simultaenously develop it too? Its not question on KCR's capability, but there's a limit to his political power. Its better to empower TG people and draw from that power. Hyd can lose, TG will gain.

Unless TG people are majority landowners in Hyd, These developments will push them further away from Hyd.
gargicau Posted November 5, 2014 Author Report Posted November 5, 2014 remember what happened to muslims in Hyd. new rush of development will do the same to TG people. KCR must be wary of this.

Why put all focus on Telangana? as if some experiment is going on... It's been just four months, and I haven't seen any setbacks or roadblocks to development, Its all false media propaganda...power crisis is previous govt's failure.... Politically also there is no apparent loss...MLAs from other parties jumping in....
maverick23 Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 HYD is center kada geographically.....whats your problem??

Politically also there is no apparent loss...MLAs from other parties jumping in.... It is psyche(sadistic) attack of some sections of media and the people of who opposed telangana/TRS ..they can not digest the fact /reality of existence of TG state..and want to project it has failed state (experiment) and want to force up on it on the people of TG that thier choice was wrong .. If you watch ABN channel you understand how it praises CBN and compares 'progressive' AP with TG (farmers suicide/power etc) and glorfies CBN through out and showing KCR in negative shade as non performer)

Politically also there is no apparent loss...MLAs from other parties jumping in.... I'm not criticising KCR here at all. But there's such a thing as political reality. I didn't mention power crisis too. I find TG to be an interesting case study. and these are my predictions. TG leaders jumping in and out of parties matters little. There's a reason KCR did TG survey. And smartly courts muslims to capture power in Hyd. That is the best option KCR has now. I predict that if KCR wins hyd's control, Hyd will slow down, unless muslims step and fill in the void. And that's not because KCR is a bad leader.
