Difference between movies in olden days and after 90's

Featured Replies

Hi Friends

There are lot of debates why heroes doing less movies and why there are no multihero projects in Tollywood and less success rate, i am inviting you guys to share your views (please  no personnel comments on heroes and members)

I am starting with some points

heroes in olden days were very less (NTR, ANR, Krishna, Shobhan Babu n Krishnam Raju), so obviously they will get more movies, so they got chance to work one another, there was security even if 5 movies gets failed

as a matter of fact there are lot repetitive stories (pogaru aatha-alludu, father killed by goons-hero takes revenge) and there was no electronic media only papers and magazine , and no piracy

nowadays we have lot heroes , every one wants to settle first on their own basis , hence no multi heroes projects

so there are choosy about films, there is lot of insecurity, if hero gives  5 flops thats it he was gone (eg Uday Kiran, venkat , naveen vadde) if we have any repeat story thats it movie is gone (sainikudu , aata)

we have electronic media to scan movie in each and every bit, and above all piracy

I think nowadays movies are more realistic and have comedy (earlier some film makers used to insert clips of english films) and good quality...  and we are missing historical, Mythological, western (cowboy) and social films
