NEW DELHI: A finance ministry note submitted to the group of ministers examining issues relating to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh contradicts the claims of Seemandhra politicians that the region would stand to lose the lion's share of revenue by ceding Hyderabad to a separate Telangana state. According to the note, Telangana's share (including Hyderabad) in tax and non-tax revenue for 2012-13 was Rs 61,414.13 crore, with Hyderabad contributing Rs 20,022.21 crore. Interestingly, coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema - jointly referred to as Seemandhra - together surpassed Telangana by contributing Rs 66,152.61 crore in revenue. The note circulated to the GoM establishes that revenue from Telangana districts other than Hyderabad - Adilabad, Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mehbubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal - totalled Rs 41,391.92 crore during the last financial year. man he is talking about what expected and how much it got
