   Jatayuvu is dasaratha friend not janka friend. Jatayu help dasaratha king while he was in war with samparasura......Dude this is the basic info........i will try to find out what exactly the story goes..i forgot ....inka any questions.

Rama was born as a human(kshatriya). It means that he has to do what ever other Kshatriyas do to get strength. Who told u that we need to do fasting on sree ramanavami man? :3D_Smiles_38:  I ate non- veg  on that day. Infact when my friend asked me the same question, I told him that I don't eat non-veg only when I am fasting.  It always depends on your perception. If you do fasting and drink more water, the salts in your body melts(which are responsible for storing fat in you body). This is the reason why our ancestors asked us to do fasting.

God is the person who helps us when we are in need. Rama killed so many demons to protect humanity(he started this when he was in Panchavati only) and set an  example for us how to be a great person and king. If you read entire Ramayana, your respect toward Rama will be doubled for sure man.

But Ram is not called Maryada Purushottam just as a mark of respect. He always respected the existing tradition (Maryada) of that time. Shri Rama respected the citizens. He respected the people's talks. He declared that Sita had to pass the Agni Pariksha test so that he could accept her back. Laxman strongly opposed this. Yet the victorious army chief insisted that Agni Pariksha was the only thing which could make him accept her. Sita agreed and after the satisfactory completion of the ritual ‘Agni Pariksha’, Shri Ram gladly accepted her back as his wife.

Ram did it not because he personally doubted Sita but because of the demands of his dharma as a king; he knew she was innocent but he had to show his praja (subject) that unlike his father, he was not a slave to a woman, that as a just raja he was willing to make any amount of personal sacrifices for them. It was an act of sacrifice for him as well. He suffered no less, and lived an ascetic life thereafter.

Our king might accept a wife who had stayed in another man’s home but not me – On hearing a washer man question the purity of the Queen of Ayodhya, Lord Ram decides to send a pregnant Mata Sita to the forest. Rama is the ideal king and for a modern reader this is heights of stupidity and absurdity. A modern reader would want Lord Ram to stand by his wife and defend her and not to fall for the irresponsible prattle of his foolish subjects. If Lord Ram had sent the washer man questioning the purity of Mata Sita to prison, he would be performing the duty of a husband. But will he be performing the duty of a King? Lord Ram could have beheaded the washer man on the spot. But will he be able behead all those people that questions the purity of Mata Sita. Lord Ram would have become a dictator! Would we worship such a Lord Ram today?

But did Lord Ram marry again? No, in fact he suffered more than Mata Sita. He was lonely in the huge palace. He was always immersed in the thought of Sita. He had to bear the voidness created by Mata Sita’s departure. He was filled with remorse - a husband who had to send his pregnant wife away. But Rama did his Dharma, he upheld the accepted standards of ideal kinghood.

 As for Valmiki Ramyana - 

                  Yes navami is not a pouis day.But Lord Rama was born on that day.Rama was born black in color and born on navami day , for which king dasartha was tensed and asked vasistha , for which he replied , he was born for a reason.Vasistha knows that he is born for reason.Lord Vishnu is Black in Color and so Rama was black.

Even Lord Krishna was born on asthami.....The are born for a reason.

   Rama married sita on Navami.Seetha and Rama had problems ani we cannot say its not a Good Day.They are born for reason and to reach their goals they faced problems.Those days people used to believe in God So much and astrology also.Why will Dasaratha and Vasistha will come up with a bad muhurtham for their weddinng.Even sage vasista kept muhurtham for pathabishekam but it did not work out , the reason is -  muhurtham was kept to go to exile and kill Demon Ravana success and Rama succedded and got his pattabhisekham done.

As for Valmiki Ramayana  - Rama is born to a human being taking the pain to get into this world , sitting in mother womb for 10 months.He was born to king dasaratha who was a kshetriya.

Rama is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.So Rama is God.He is born as human being to kill Demon Ravana since he has a boon that he can be killed only by a human being.While reading Valmiki Ramayana , who will never notice seen holding powers and did magical things.

 Yes Rama eats meats.Sri Rama navami is the day for celebration , there is no need to do fasting on that day.He got married on sri rama navami and andariki pelli bhojanam pedtharu were ever wedding happens.

As for vedas , Non veg should not be taken on few important days dantlo Sri Rama navami okati. Mana Padathi lo chepali antey non veg should not be taken on any festivals and ekadashis.Even we should not meat on our b'days but these days adi chala kastam.

Yes we respect his as Good king , ideal husdand , bro and disciple.

                  As for Valmiki Ramayana -

        After killing Demon Ravana , Vibhishana wife and daughter gets new clothing and jewelry for seethama and made her ready since she has to reach her husband.She did not changed her clothes in these past 9 months. Seethama came and stood in front of Rama , but Rama did not look at seethamma and said , You are the wife of the king and we are about to rule the kingdom soon , for which I would say you should go under agni pravesha and prove your chastity.Every body is shocked listening to Rama words , he ordered laxmana to stack up wood for her agni pareeksha,Laxmana opposed and asked Rama why  parishka and even Seethamma asked Rama - y are you telling me to go under agni parkisha . She says will it glorify your Kingdom and Fore father history , she says things would be different if King Dasaratha is here at this movement.She says if women is under other place means to doubt the chastity.

As for Valmiki Ramayana , Ravana took seethama and kept in the kingdom and asked seethamma to marry him,but she opposes.Ravana cannot force women into sex since he has shapam from Lord Brahma as Ravana was forcing Menaka ( I guess ) for sex and she opposed,This incident happened in front of Indra sabha,So until a women accept ravana on her own ,Ravana can proceed , if ravana forces any women for sex his 10 heads would break and die immediately.

  Rama knows everything about the Ravana story but he says to go agni pravesham.Since not all people in the kingdom does not know the story of ravana and his shapam.Andukey this agni pravesham.

    But later her chastity was doubted again and was sent to forest again.
