the more relevant stat is, between the age of 15-19 almost 100% literacy in TN. among both males and females.

The figure for AP is less than 90%. Its worse off when female literacy is considered.

TN also has the best road network, with a lot of investment on state highways.

In my very short time in TN, I sensed that TN police, and chennai police in particular are way more liberal than that of other states.

I can't vouch for their attitude when they come across a non-tamil person, because the question is not why TN is better for foreigners.

I compare this with Bengaluru police. And I can speak decent kannada.

Indians have this attitude that the whole country belongs to them. and in a sense, legally it does. It means they can settle down anywhere they want.

It doesn't mean that they can demand the locals to change themselves for them.

For Hyderabadis who think their city is welcoming, you only have to talk to plenty of non-telugus who live there, and weren't born there, to realise how 'welcoming' your city really is.

Its the same for all cities in India, except Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi.

In AP, uppercastes have the biggest voice.

In TN, middlecastes, or even lower castes (except dalits) do.
