King_Kong Posted April 15, 2015 Author Report Posted April 15, 2015 Pakka nuvvu potti potatoe ve Just google to know why TN is great Ikkada antha comedy discussions ledhu le man. pottipotato discuss chesthe verela vuntadhi. inno rojulu vunanu. ah matram telidha evaru kong_kong ani.
King_Kong Posted April 15, 2015 Author Report Posted April 15, 2015 Chennai port is the only reason Vizag port is BIGGER than Chennai port and also handling more cargo than Chennai. Thats not the reason. TN always somehow attracts huge investments irrespective of govt. TN has 4 International Airports (AP had two. Hyd&Vizag) TN has 3 MAJOR ports (AP has one which is Vizag) TN is 47% urbanised (United AP 31%) TN Literacy Rate 80% (United AP 67%) and finally the less we talk about education health care the better. TN is just far far ahead than AP in good education and health care. What made TN achieve like those which I mentioned above ? TN Area - 130000 km square United AP Area - 260000 km square.

lazybugger Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 politics are egalitarian. unlike in AP where it is dominated by the wealthy castes. Though the situation is changing in TN too. economically conservative, to point of being cheapskates. They just don't spend on anything that won't fetch them any returns (generally speaking). So at this point of time, this attitude works for them, but things will change when rest of India grows at a higher rate. Even if TN falls behind economically, they'll always be known for being kinder to the poorer sections of their society. This reflects in health parameters, like you mention. TamilNadu is perhaps the second most corrupt state, after maharashtra, but still attracts FDI in huge numbers. AP is perhaps among the most efficient states, bureaucracy wise, but still lags behind TN in attracting foreign capital. I think this has to do with lack of diversity in AP in opportunities. AP is more wedded to the Indian economy, whereas TN not so much. When India grows at a brisker pace, AP will grow faster than TN. But TN will always be a better place for the poorer people.
lazybugger Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 There's no party like the TDP in AP. There'll never be one. and its the greatest thing about TN.

lazybugger Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 That there exists a TDP party, with loudest supporters from its caste members is the worst thing about AP. I remember my colleague remarking that AP is just a glorified Bihar politics wise. and he was from karnataka.
