Well they are contributing in terms of money as well as compromizing in terms of problem solving ability,

 

it doesnt matter the're helping the universities to sustain , without which the burden will be passed on to the regular crowd ... i highly doubt how many people would be able to afford the fees if there are no NRI seats ...

na ,  i think i think NRI seats one of the best thought ideas to help the universities sustain ... withiut NRI seats a lot univ would just be mediocre ...

 

Really what change did NRIs bring apart from making the Univ luxorious did they bring jobs to locals ? Then why so many are coming to US ? Besides 'mediocre' univs wouldn't inflate the Btech fee and the students could have used the saved fee for their Masters

dude basic logic ... NRI seats doesnt  mean that the people who get in with those seats are really NRIs ...

initially i had that same doubt that NRI doesn't mean they are foreigners.. even management are considered as NRI right

Ok repeating again, put an enterance exam even for NRIs. If that is already there and the college is really taking 'deserving' students, I am out of this.
