nanibabu
Y S Vivekananda Reddy, Kadapa MP and brother of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, has finally made up his mind to quit active politics. He declared that he would not contest the forthcoming elections and would be writing to the party high command to give the Kadapa Lok Sabha ticket to his nephew Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Even otherwise, Vivekananda Reddy is only a dummy Congress MP in Kadapa and it is Jagan who is directly and indirectly controlling the party activities and is also monitoring the government programmes in the constituency. So, it is nothing but natural that Jagan would be the next candidate for Kadapa LS seat. Initially, there was a talk that Vivekananda Reddy would be contesting the Assembly elections. However, he is upset with the way Jagan is dominating the scene and hence, he thought it would be better to keep away from politics, rather than being a dummy candidate. Good decision, indeed!
