The leader part was over when he secured the separate state was carved out. All of his appointments and actions are open to be questioned. Its the govt's duty to maintain a dignified silence in the face of such provocation by the media. It's so easy to hush this up and make Outlook post a lengthy apologetic piece about the comic, than to file a defamatory case - which will be dismissed, because the comic was mostly satire + unnecessary flab, and not defamatory at all.
