Raja123 Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 It is interesting to see the DHS language. They used 'General work authorization' - which is a very good indication that we are one more step closer to the end of the tunnel. Though there is no mention of AP (Advance parole or travel documents), I am guessing it should be there. Or how will one re-enter the country without a H1B status. Fingers crossed until the final text - hope OMB approves by 12/21/2015. Text from one of the paragraphs: "DHS will propose, through a rulemaking, to allow certain beneficiaries of approved Immigrant Petitions for Alien Worker (Form I-140) to obtain general work authorization" http://www.dhs.gov/news/2015/12/09/written-testimony-uscis-director-house-judiciary-subcommittee-immigration-and-border Written testimony of USCIS Director Leon Rodriguez for a House Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security hearing titled “Oversight of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services” repost :3D_Smiles_38:
