Although I personally haven't worked directly with any of the Indian vendors/implementation partners I have heard that the full time staff try to indulge in politics, back stabbing, curry favoring with the managers to project themselves in better light than you etc. So even though it's only consulting your job might not be as smooth as it would be with most other employers.
