1) Her argument is that if ppl representative doesnt have money, how would they help. Its rubbish as you can use legislative power or if there is any infrastructure issue, you can use govt money by making a legislation. I can understand if she said as they cost of living gone up, they need to increase the pay role.

 

2) When the reporter tied the farmer suicide with pay hikes, she responded well that they have invested heavily in farmers welfare and it needs time to see the results. she should have added that they are assuring farmers that ache dhin aane vaale hai. Instead, she said who are you to question them or why don't you question Punjab etc.

 

3) Suhel seth did create a show by elevating the emotions which i dont see an issue as it is his job to project himself. Being said that, he did made a good point that "OPTICS" (pay hikes) doesn't look good when farmers are committing suicides.
