S#d^ AWS is not that great in Data analytics and DWH ani bayata talk.. IDK seems like AWS redshift and Azure Dataware house both has similar options.. interms of scale, design, network, monitoring, audit etc here are differences and when to choose what https://www.flydata.com/microsoft-azure-data-warehouse-vs-amazon-redshift/

IDK redshift ki bagane undi talk. hadoop/hive is fast, but every query runs in similar time, smallest count(*) takes 5 minutes, and the largest group by's take 5 minutes, so extensive small queries run chese shops prefer redshift, as it's sql like on cloud airbnb has a case study on their website for redshift, they say they're happy

rikki Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 i agree..he is asking something and he replied ok bro anta naaku aa paina quote chusi navvochindi.. TS wants to ask qs...doesnt want to know laaga anipichi.. I posted some stuff. it was like.. vendor: hi u have h1? user: no I have GC EAD... vendor: when can you get h1? user: ok
andhravodu Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 Akda PostGreSQL not just sql minor changes. these days rdbms anni using ansi sql as base query language. architecture and performance tuning daggara there are a ton of differences, but ansi sql vaste, you can do querying on all modern rdbms's. redshift lo vadedi kooda basic sql no. I bet your company usecase is they have postgres for local dwh or some source repository, and have etl loads onto redshift from it. business users will query on redshift
