Balakrishna is way too insensible a speaker to be taken seriously in politics. When asked if the YSRCP MLA’s who jumped ship to the TDP would be made to resign and seek a fresh mandate, Balakrishna initially said yes and then when prompted from the person sitting next to him altered his stance. He then said that those MLA’s had joined the TDP as they wanted to develop their constituencies and therefore, they need not resign. As for his comments on Chiranjeevi, they were uncalled for unless there was something going on behind the scenes. Already when Chandrababu is facing a headache over the Kapu reservation issue, making those remarks against Chiranjeevi who the Kapus look upon as their representative in the industry, can brew fresh trouble for the TDP.
