tokkale Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 --dalits should first try and become economically stable....not easy but primary education needs an overhaul to help them use reservations more effectively.. -- they should take a leaf out of OBCs in UP/Bihar and for that matter in cities like Hydbad....where by becoming economically powerful lobby they can secure social and political clout. -- and this eternal victimhood syndrome ...however justified they think it is....will not gel well with todays aspirational youth in India....they cannot keep claiming reservations as their right....more Jat/Patel/kapu agitations will follow.... --dalits cannot somehow magically turn the tables and occupy the ruling class chairs....do you think ruling classes are stupid to let that happen.....they cannot antagonize the whole Upper caste population....if this problem needs to be fixed it should a cooperative effort... -- all good things and reforms that came about in hinduism did happen because of people who where "insiders" --people who did not hate Hinduism...wanted sincerely to reform the bad practices...people like Vivekananda many in telugu land kandukuri et al..and to an extent even gandhi...for all his flaws he did not hate hinduism as nehru did......no good ever came from Hindu hates like periyar et al ... --form a formidable vote bank....as i said choose the friends wisely..... and finally...keep leftist/Islamists and terrorist sympathizers from hijacking the pro-dalit narrative.....if dalits ..at lease educated ones like Rohith cannot see thru their BS then its really tough....
