VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Bernie helped the democrats to swing left like thy should be. But will the core of bernie's supporters vote for Hillary come Election time. Hillary is everything that bernie supporters hate and that group might just skip voting.. Which will be a huge advantage to Trump or whoever comes from that side I think for every guy/girl who wants to punch Trump in his face, the least they could do is turn up and vote for Hillary, if Bernie doesn't get the nod.
andhravodu Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 he should be given a big role in the govt. it probably will do her more good to include Bernie in her team. cabinet secretary then. vp is a blackhole
siru Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 I think for every guy/girl who wants to punch Trump in his face, the least they could do is turn up and vote for Hillary, if Bernie doesn't get the nod. All the Gops complain that Trump is a bully.. I so wish to see him in a debate with Bernie.. Lol we can see how much of a bully trump really is
stockdazzler Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 I think its too late for her.. But if she can somehow convince bernie to be her Vice preseident Then people will bilieve she is for real. Even if its not VP, bernie should be given an important role lol that's funny. He is fighting against established politics, there is no chance for him to be part of her government and it doesn't work like that.
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 All the Gops complain that Trump is a bully.. I so wish to see him in a debate with Bernie.. Lol we can see how much of a bully trump really is Trump gets easily flustered kadha. Even Hillary will knock him, if she switches her bot mode off. he couldn't even handle Rubio. If Chris Christie was on a 2 man race with Trump, he'll shame Trump like no other. Unfortunately, Christie has now endorsed him. :(
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 lol that's funny. He is fighting against established politics, there is no chance for him to be part of her government and it doesn't work like that. Yes. He should carry his movement on his own. Even Ron Paul did that. But he didn't have this much support. I think many Ron Paul supporters are rooting for Sanders now. Even though Ron Paul is the exact opposite of Sanders, a lot more principled than Sanders, and hence unelectable, and a bit of dcik too.
siru Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 lol that's funny. He is fighting against established politics, there is no chance for him to be part of her government and it doesn't work like that. He did fight against establishments.. But this movement he started, its not about him anymore.. Its about keeping up the promosies he made.. If he is part of the govt, he will have the leverage to do something.. Simply staying out will not do any good to the people.
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 He did fight against establishments.. But this movement he started, its not about him anymore.. He can't keep any promises if he's not the President. Even if he does become President, its not that easy to keep those promises. He has admitted that he expects people to put pressure on their senators to help him carry out his agenda. Reason why several intelligent people aren't enthused by Sanders. They think he'll make a circus show of the Presidency by over communicating with the electorate. Another reason is, may people feel that US is not yet ready for Sanders type of politics. But we'll see if its true by mid June. Did you even look at his tax proposal? Some scary stuff there. I would be paying slightly more tax, if I moved to the US under those slabs. And this is considering some deductions that US offers, which Canada doesn't. The marginal tax, obviously, through the roof under his plan, even for people making modest $150k.
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Sanders is proposing a variation of 'direct democracy', but not overtly. He doesn't trust the republican majority senate to pass any laws he brings in.
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 But he trusts his capacity to shame them in public. and hopefully turn public anger against them, for them to do his bidding. that's his plan, until dems capture majority in the senate.
VizagRocks Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 The thing is, if US implements Sanders tax rates, the rates in the rest of the developed world will also increase. :giggle:
