Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has mastered the art of changing tunes according to his convenience. He thinks he can get away by whatever he says, but the people are not fools to get carried away by his rhetoric. Naidu has been spitting venom at Sakshi, the media house owned by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, for exposing the massive land scam in and around the new capital city of Amaravati. He says Jagan cannot misuse Sakshi, as it was attached by the government as per the investigating agencies probing into the alleged illegal assets case of Jagan. “As such, Sakshi is the property of the people and the government will soon acquire it,” he said. In the same breath, Naidu raised an exactly counter-point. When Sakshi mentioned about purchase of Hailand, a resort belonging to Agri Gold, by Naidu’s son Lokesh through benami dealings, the TDP boss expressed surprise as to how it was possible. “Hailand near Mangalagiri was part of the attached properties of Agri Gold. The company continues to own the property though it is attached by the court. It is still in the name of Agri Gold and not the government. How can Lokesh purchase it?” he asked. When Sakshi is not owned by Jagan, how can Hailand be owned by Agri Gold? Why is this double talk, Mr Naidu ?
