No no. 100 senators untaru 50 states ki 33 something senate seats are up for vote every 2 years. When electing senators, whole state decide chestundi voting. This is similarvto governer, difference is in the branches they serve. Senate is like MP governer is like india cm exmple vesuko. Mp powers undavu, but senators are very critical in passing bills

No rule they have to be same party. they could be different parties. All depends on voting trends for that year in the state. Real situation lo some states too party loyal. Ex, calif lo there will never be a republican senator in the near future
