Depends on several factors...age of the accounts matters as much as your overall balances with any other loans and credits...if you keep your balances in a good shape your credit worthiness increase and your credit score will improve again soon...all you need to make sure is to make yourself credit worthy all the time...

Depends on several factors...age of the accounts matters as much as your overall balances with any other loans and credits...if you keep your balances in a good shape your credit worthiness increase and your credit score will improve again soon...all you need to make sure is to make yourself credit worthy all the time...

Yeah your credit limit and the age both were the factors. You had relatively larger limit and an older account. Don't worry paying off a credit is also good indication...just keep your balances low on the remainder of loan/credit if you have any it will shoot up again in probably 6 months...if the ones you closed were your only credit/loan then apply for a new CC but in general don't close aged accounts unless there is annual fee or something for it and you don't like it anymore...but then as captain hindsight says, you should have not applied for a CC that has an annual fee in the first place and then aged it :)

Don't worry, just wait 6 months, the most important point is you should maintain your credit worthiness...
