bussuboy Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Longer format of the game is biggest hurdle, ICC trying to promote T20 worldwide. Specially in USA, ICC is putting lot of effort to promote T20 in USA.
bussuboy Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Agraharam lo talk....NBA-NFL-MLB mafia putting hurdles as they don't want cricket to become big in USA.

Antha scene ledhu :giggle: buying a single PLAYER cricket kit is more costly than one football for both teams as simple as that .. That is the situation in England AUS SA .. It's all down to finances & infrastructure & technique As per cricinfo article
bussuboy Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 I was just kidding. The key is not the "Kit cost for Single Player", USA does not have proper cricketing grounds/fields, so ICC is focusing on that. The KITS for the players are a not even a issue in USA. So ICC is working on international quality cricket grounds, Florida has one, California has few of them. Aina...ckikket aadataninki,,,oka bat...oka ball....enough. That's the way we play galli cricket and then into leagues. :) Antha scene ledhu @3$% buying a single PLAYER cricket kit is more costly than one football for both teams as simple as that .. Kit , coaching fee etc ..it's a costly game available for rich ppl In USA too, the Kit won't be the hurdle, there are bigger issues than the KIT. The Avg. cricket kit(made in ind or pak) is available in USA for 100$ for kids that want to play cricket in USA. Coaching availability too is improving , the cricket grounds and more importantly cricket career is not visible yet in USA, so cricket is lagging in USA. ICC has done the ground work and identified these concerns...lets see how the make T20 big in USA. ICC wants to tap the USA market.....there is lot of money here in USA...so ICC is investing wisely on this. ICC with its partners here...is taking cricket to school level...as they know it has to come from grass root level. Few schools in NY, MA,CA, FL have cricket as an option along with football, baseball, soccer and basket ball. Lets see...
