Affa man, thats how group by is designed... max is just a use case of it man...

SELECT id_num, other_id, created_dateFROM some_tableWHERE created_date in (SELECT MAX(created_date)from some_tableGROUP BY id_num; aa query kuda tried baa, it works but multiple rows vastai for id_num if they have same created_date
