Again, benchmark is within Indian movies. Bayata 200million budgets petti teestunnaru. How do you think Indian movies compete against that? Not even that, Marco polo tv serial 10 episodes ki 90million usd pettaru, which is 600crore rupees. And danilo war episodes are like maybe 10 minutes whole.

Well, India is a friend of soviets. Anyhoo, I think the idea was to encourage alternative cinema. After a while, it ran out of course, but wouldn't go away
