First Look: Miniplex At Vijayawada Bus Station

A world-class state of the art miniplex is all set to be launched at the Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) in Vijayawada soon in May. In a move to enhance the  passenger amenities and to improve revenue for the corporation to bail out itself from the debts, the APSRTC  partnered with the APIMS India Private Limited company to come up with this miniplex.

 

Boasting a 130 seating capacity and spread across 4,356 square feet area with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.3 crore, this miniplex will feature two mini digital theatre screens. The ticket price is fixed as Rs. 80 per head.

 

All the construction works have come to an end and the miniplex will be open to public later this summer. With more such miniplexes being planned to be set up across the state, no doubt that this  will revolutionize the film distribution and viewing system in Andhra Pradesh.

How will a movie theatre in Bus Stand improve the revenue for APSRTC? Why will ppl come to bus stand to watch a movie?

ok, Yes, the bezawada bus stand is in convenient location....so Apsrtc is diversifying into other business. Cheers.
