Credit card payment question _ it worked_4_Amex

I have a credit of 4000 amount... Today is my last day to pay. I paid 2000 now and want to avoid charges for rest 2k.

I got a crazy idea....donno correct ooo kaadoo ...

 

Oka 2000 dollar item koni ( maybe a Mac in bestbuy) , ade return isthe .... It will add to credits on my card.....

I will get another month time to pay rest .

 

Will this work ?

nuvvu item koni return icchina adi.... refund category lo ki velthundi but it doesnt turn out as a payment

 

and return/refund icchina dhaniki neeku credits ravu..... as far as I know... i may be rite or wrong

Nuvvu last day na vere transaction chesina adhi processing state lo vuntundhi for most of the credit companies.. And nuvvu return iste adhi diff category.. Dont come for.payments afaik...Last month statment balance kattali to avoid additional fees.. Naaku telisina antha varuku

As far as i know yes it will work for amex card... If you buy and return it that amount will be deducted from your payment atleast for amex ... Never observed on citior other cards...

No other option bhujji... Interest rates are calculated from statement generated day onwards... Even if you pay in full today, u have pay interest charges from last statement day to today

Interest calculated from next day after last payment date..The period from new cycle beginning to payment due date is interest free period.

Do you have grace period for this card?

if you have grace period and your card balance was  0$ at your last billing cycle, you might not be paying any interest. Since you are not paying in complete for this month, interest is charged on balance and also new charges using daily periodic rate...

If you don't have a grace period, you are anyways charged whether you pay your bill in complete or not..
