ABOUT HORTON ACADEMY

HORTON ACADEMY provides training in Big Data and Hadoop Eco system. This course is designed for Programmers / Data Analysts / Business Analysts/Technical Project Managers, who'd like to understand the core tools used to wrangle and analyze Big data.

With no prior experience, you'll have the opportunity to walk through hands-on examples with Hadoop framework, Spark framework, Apache Drill and Tableau - the most popular in the industry.

In the hands on project, you will be guided through how data engineers and scientists apply the important concepts and techniques, such as Map-Reduce, exploratory data analysis, that are used to solve fundamental problems in big data. You'll feel empowered to have conversations about big data and the data analysis processes.

Java/Python or SQL knowledge will be an added advantage but not mandatory
