Hi,

As you already have I-140 approval doesn't matter from which company it got approved, you will get 3 years extension when you apply for H1 transfer to this new company. I went through same situation where I had I-140 approved and then I did H1 transfer to new company. I just submitted the copy of I-140 approval (I had only 1 year left of my 6 years H1) while doing H1 transfer, my new I-797 came with 3 years of extension based on 140 approval. So make sure that you submit your approval copy while filing H1 transfer to new company, you will get it.
