Bro...what all u said is 100% correct....and this info is not new...upper caste, well educated, bureaucrats, politicians, lower caste high level politicians all know these numbers very well......but the point is for the sack of money & posts these lower caste politicians sold themselves to Ucaste.........but......... yes, over period of time its gonna change........when ????????

Based on how two major ruling castes are reacting to this in Karnataka, its a new info. In the comment section in the article I linked to, couple of guys are claiming that Lingayats are dalits too. haha..

I'm interested in how this unfolds.

I agree several lower caste guys work against their own people. It will change when people start voting as a block. TN had a chance to get behind a very popular dalit leader, Thirumavalavan. But Jaya wave was too much to handle for him this time.

All those freebies, etc, were hard to match. The only hope is TN economy tanks by the time next election comes around, and alternate politics is born.
