Rarely poking holes in my assertions, but so quick to bring up something completely irrelevant that I said sometime back. What a pathetic man you are. you should stick to your LoveGuru avataar here. Even though you sounded like a moron even as a LoveGuru, atleast you won't have me trolling you for the shyte you say, like you do, when your ego is hurt. Quote
VizagRocks Posted June 10, 2016 Author Report Posted June 10, 2016 3. you are right. It is a big topic to discuss. The discussion should be centered around privacy of citizens. Obviously I don't view SSN in the US as a great thing. benefit transfers have happened for decades in TN without Aadhar card. By all accounts one of the best public transfer systems in India, with the least leakage. What is the need for a centrally managed ID, that links your other personal ids? TN resisted Aadhar for so long, and successfully. Jaya even mocked it publicly. But last I heard, even TN had to give up and bow down as NDA linked Aadhar to LPG subsidies, because of local pressure to not lose those subsidies. UPA govt. did bring this disaster of a scheme to India. NDA went one step further and tries to make Aadhar compulsory for bank accounts. Do you trust indian govt. with its incompetent systems and leadership to keep your data safe? Corruption is being touted as the biggest evil in India. These kind of hare-brained policies are a result of such opinions. As someone who tried to start a business, and gave up in India, corruption (which is linked to caste, and govt. access) is one of the biggest problems. But not in the way BJP portrays it. They are the face of corruption. Quote
