Lukewalker
you can only do voluntary work while on h1. voluntary means charity, serving food at homeless shelter etc, anthe gaani gas station lo work chesthu salary em ledhu, just charity ante oppukoru. if an american does the same work for salary/pay then it is not considered voluntary work. so be careful while on H1

papampasivadu
It's tricky when it comes to startup's man.... Gas station scenario is an easy example...let's say oka startup lo prototype build up cheskuntunnav investors ki chupinchadaniki, that's not illegal to do it as co-founder...but aa prototype ki Venture capitalist investment occhindi, appudu scenario maripoddhi... If you are serious about this, AFDB is not the right place to ask questions...hire an immigration attorney and he'll suggest you accordingly...else, linkedin lo desi venture capitalists ni pattuko...you'll find a lot of them if you are in bay area...vallu cheptaru process... good luck
