Her exposing of naval part in the Pelli Choopulu sequence in director Trivikram’s "A Aa" received mixed reactions, while the youth and mass audiences liked it, the family audiences and class people felt that she went too far. Before “A Aa”, she di not do heavy exposing. Although she wore mini skirt and did some skin show in films like “Atharinitiki Daaredi”, she largely stuck to the image of girl-next-door. Her naval exposing in “A Aa” was okay to the requirement of the scene but Naga Chaitanya fans are reportedly hurt deeply. Akkineni fans say when she is planning to get married to their hero Naga Chaitanya, why should she do such overexposing? This is typical fans’ reaction. Grapevine has it that she would not resort to such heavy exposing scenes after the release of “Janatha Garage”. In NTR’s “Janatha Garage” too, she wore some hot dresses in songs. Since both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are keen to get married early next year, Samantha is advised by her friends that she should slow down on glamour show.
