Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu arrived base in Hyderabad early today from Brazil to an rousing state reception accorded by the Telangana and Hyderabad governments.

Ms Sindhu’s was given a stupendous welcome at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad. This will be trailed by a rally in an open-top-motorcade towards Gachibowli stadium where the expert shuttler will be felicitated.

Scores of fans are expected to throng the airport to witness the celebratory atmosphere.

Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao will lead the reception along with senior officials and all necessary arrangements have been made in this regard.
